Christopher Warneke

Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my website! I am a plant ecologist interested in rare species and invasive species, and am driven by what makes populations at these ends of the abundance spectrum tick. I have worked primarily within restored habitat systems, as we can use experimental techniques to directly test ideas about species rarity and growing populations within these systems.

I am currently a postdoctoral scientist in the Damschen Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining the Damschen Lab, I completed a PhD in the Brudvig Lab in the Department of Plant Biology and the Program in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior at Michigan State University. Please visit the above tabs for further information.
